A Golden Birthday

Meaning it's Graham's 4th birthday on the 4th. It is so crazy that our little guy is already 4. I think we are all in shock that he is 4.

He's not our baby anymore. What a big boy!

Last night our sweet friend Brandi Outland brought over this cute cake for Graham. He husband, Will's birthday was yesterday. She made a truck cake for him since he manages the Les Schwab store down the street. Then she made one for Graham.
Graham was so excited to see it.

And it was blue, Graham's favorite color. Thanks Brandi!

When talking about his birthday Graham would always bring up the Bounce House.

That's what we did this morning. It was just the boys and Gavin's friend Rees, who spent the night last night. Gretchen spent the night at the Outlands.

Gavin and Rees coming down one of the slides.

Graham at the top of another slide.

Harrison and Hunter climbing up. Yes, Hunter did have some energy to get in there with the other boys.

Gavin and Rees were in a constant game of Tag.

Harrison joining the game.

Graham and Hunter joining in the fun.

Graham and Hunter playing Bigfoot. Graham's idea was to be Bigfoot.

In the ball pit.

The boys in the pool kickin' it.

Harrison joining the pool party.

Poor Gavin got his leg caught in the mouth of a dinosaur.

Graham got caught next. Harrison is really worried about him.

This is when Graham was done being there.

The boys.

The boys helped decorate Graham cupcakes after lunch.

Graham had wanted an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. While we were in the waiting room at a doctors appointment for me this week, Graham and I saw these cute cupcakes. Graham said I want those for my birthday. Done!

For dinner Graham had requested chicken skin, aka roasted chicken. Then he kept switching between Panda Express and chicken skin. He finally landed on Panda Express. Luckily we all love it.

The boys enjoying their food. Gretchen and I had to duck out of dinner early for horse riding lessons.

When we got back it was time for cupcakes and presents. Graham could hardly wait.

Watching Hunter light those candles.

Watching the candles and listening to the birthday song sung to him. Graham even joined in.

Blowin' them out.

You've gotta lick the frosting off the candles.

Diggin' in.

Gretchen enjoying her cupcake.

Harrison watching Graham.

Opening up the present. It just happened that Graham had four presents on his 4th birthday.

Looking at the back of the box of Mr. Freeze, a villan to go with his Batcave.

Excited to get Artic Batman. He has a snow mobile.

Discovery the Batmobile with another Batman that is blue.

There it is.

Opening up a Star Wars Lego set with 10 droids. Graham loves playing with Hunter's droids. Finally some of his own.

I think he was pleased with his gifts and birthday over all.

Here Graham was letting Hunter know he could play with his droids....tomorrow. No really you can. It was so cute to see him want to share with Hunter just like Hunter does with him.

What a special little guy Graham is. We are so grateful for him being in our family.
Happy Birthday Graham!
