Class Barbecue

There was a family barbecue for Harrison's new class at Franklin. It was great for Harrison to meet most of the his new classmates.
There were rides behind the lawn mower.
Gavin and Calvin were found playing any game they could if they weren't eating.
We had such a fun time.

Tough Mudder

Aaron competed in the Tough Mudder Father's day weekend.
He trained hard and was happy with his results. We are so proud of him.

Baseball Awards

Gavin's team met at the championship game for pizza and awards. It was a bummer that they weren't playing the game.
Gavin was given a ball for being the most improved. He was thrilled.

More Silly Girl

We went to the toy store to get some gifts for birthday parties that the boys were going to. Hazel found this shopping cart.
And she couldn't get enough of it.

Doernbecher Day

This handsome man had a Doernbecher day the day after school was out. Hunter's numbers were great. So his doctor up one of his meds just a bit. Now only 2 more visits to go. It is still hard to believe that we are this close. We are grateful he is feeling good.

Silly Girl

Hazel does love smoothies.
This silly girl wouldn't stay in her big girl bed. She was found right by her door like this.

More Pictures from Bend

This is the first time these two met, Owen and Harrison. They are going to be in the same class next year. Owen is already at Franklin and Harrison is going there next year.
My friend sent some more pictures from the Bend baseball tournament.
These are some pretty good ones. I love his smile.

Last Day of School

The last day of school was busy. Harrison got an award for second grades for excellence in academics. He was pretty funny when he received his award. Harrison held up his certificate so everyone could see. Then bowed. He got some laughs, which he loves.
After Harrison's award it was off to Graham's Kindergarten celebration.
Graham and Mrs. Winograd.
The kids signed each others books.
It was pretty cute.
Then it was off to get Hunter and drop him and his friend Andrew at Panda Express for some lunch. Then they walked to the theater to watch Ironman 3.
Then it was time to get Gavin and Harrison. And last we picked up Gretchen.
I can hardly believe school is out. But I am so grateful!

More Park Time

We met Lindsay and her kids again at the park.
We love to be hang with them.
Hazel didn't want me to push her on the swing. She only wanted Lindsay.
I love her hair in this shot.

Playoff Game

We played the Giants for the first playoff game.
Another bunt!
The boys played hard against the Giants. It wasn't enough though. The Tigers lost by 3. Ouch!
This is the end of the season for the boys. Gavin learned so much playing on this team. He has gained more confidence and made some great friends.
Now on to the Honors Team until the beginning of July.

Baseball Game # 19

Waiting for some action in the outfield.
Going for an infield fly.
Look at that great hit!
This was a make up game from a rained out game a couple of weeks before against the Mariners.
They lost again. These boys are in a slump and can't seem to get out.

More Fun

Graham Hazel and I met up with some friends at the Train Park aka Avery Park.
I was able to get several pictures of Hazel. Graham was moving around so quickly. I couldn't get any more shots of him.
Hazel wearing her cool glasses.
Hazel holding Markus. She loves him so much.

So One Is Growing Up

We took the side off of Hazel's bed a couple of weeks ago. Now she can get in and out whenever she wants. This is good and bad.
Hazel loves being able to play in her bed. I would find her pretending to put her babies to bed in others beds. Now they can go in hers.

Baseball Game #18

This game was against the Indians. This is the team the Tigers haven't beaten yet.
And they haven't yet either.
Gavin was called out on the this slide and was definitely safe! Bummer!

Fun While the Rest of the Family is in School

After Graham got out of school one day we headed to the pool to meet Lindsay and the kids.
We had a great time.
And the temperature was perfect.
Another day we met them at the park. So fun!

Happenings around the Hales

Enjoying some frozen yogurt bars on day after dinner while school was still in.
We had a fire in our new fire pit.
Hazel really enjoying her smore.
Summer was so close we could totally taste it.
