The Boys

We were able to have Hunter's friends over Halloween night.
They are such great guys. Glad they have each other!

Halloween Downtown Trick-or-Treating

We met some friends downtown for trick-or-treating.
My sweet friend April took some great pictures during.
Graham is in a new phase of making a grumpy face when pictures are taken.
Oh Joy!
Paxton and Harrison on to the next store.
Hazel staying with the big kids. She had so much fun.
It was the first time I haven't had a stroller.
Amazing!
We were almost done. The kids were tired.
Gavin went to a couple of places with us. He was sick but still wanted to be a part of things. He stayed in the car most of the time. Poor guy!
Harrison had just gotten over a stomach bug a couple of days earlier.
The sick season is upon us. But we still had a good time.

Pumpkin Carving

The kids have October 29, 30 and 31 off of school for conferences. We decided to wait for one of those days to do our pumpkins. Why try to fit it in on a school night?
It was so nice to not have to carve most of them myself. I only had to carve Hazel's.
Everyone else was in charge of their own.
While carving we watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
Hazel's pumpkin
Graham's pumpkin
Harrison's pumpkin
Gavin's pumpkin
Gretchen's pumpkin
Hunter's pumpkin

Park Time

There was a break in the rain. The kids wanted to head to the park.
We had the park to ourselves. It was great. Nice to get some fresh air

A Night at Our House

I loved walking down the stairs to this scene. The kids usually go off to their rooms to do homework. Happy to see they can also work with each other in the room.
These three were reading together. Another great scene to walk upon.

Doernbecher Day

Hazel came with Hunter and I to Doernbecher. Hunter drove all the way there. It was great for him not be so tired or sick. We haven't been to here since June. The longest stretch ever.
Hunter's numbers were great. His next visit isn't until February. So many blessings!

Football Game vs Sweet Home-Green

This was the last game of the season. It was a night game so the boys could play under the lights.
Here Gavin was making a great tackle.
And another tackle.
These pictures are pretty grainy. I was too far away. I wasn't going out from under cover. It was raining, windy and cold.
Gavin after the game.
Final score: 40-0
The boys were pretty excited!

Padres vs Cobras

This was the last game of the fall season.
Harrison got more aggressive as the season went on.
It was so fun to see him totally into it.
Unfortunately the lost every game. But not for trying. Hopefully the spring season will be better.

Padres vs Cobras

The  last game of the season for the Padres.
Harrison has really been stepping it up on defense. He gets right in the opponents way and cuts them off.
Harrison has never been one to play a sport.
He has had a great time playing with this team.
Unfortunately the score was 0-4.
This poor team didn't win any games. Hopefully in the spring the can gets some wins.

Pumpkin Pizza

Pumpkin shaped pizza!
Hazel and I had a great time making these pizzas for dinner tonight.

Little Mama

Hazel didn't have school yesterday. We had a wonderful time at home. It was nice not to have to run errands.
Hazel read and sang to her babies. It was adorable.
Hazel came home from school on Tuesday and went straight to this.
I love being home with her.

Pizza Night

I had to make the pizzas look like pumpkins. It is October after all.
Every Friday night is pizza night here.

Friends

We were lucky enough to have Kyle Brueck over after church today. His mom had his new baby brother yesterday!
We love having Kyle over. He fits right in.

Football Game vs Stayton

Gavin and I traveled to Stayton for this game.
Aaron was at a conference.
Getting ready for a kick off.
Gavin in on a tackle.
Gavin swatting the pass away.
Another kick off.
Gavin almost got a pick but the guy on offense had to swat it away.
Pretty cool!
In on another tackle. I do love watching the kids play sports.
Final Score:36-6
