Homeward Bound

Monday morning we got packed up to go home.
We had talked about stopping in Idaho for a night. Then make rest of the trip home the Tuesday. We decided to bomb it home. We were all ready to be in our own beds and house.
Hazel was such a great traveler. All the kids were. What fun we had!

Petty Family Night

Hazel helped Becky make some pink salad.

Boys will be boys.
Sunday night we went to Tim Petty's parents house for Family Night. They have it once a month with all their kids and their families who can come. We were there last year for a Family Night too. So fun! The kids had a great time playing football and lots of other things.
These two ladies never have dull moment together.
We had to get all the kids together for a photo.
The Petty's really are like family to us. We love to be with them!

Salt Lake City

After Trafalga we were planning on going to Seven Peaks in Salt Lake. We pulled up at 3 to a sign that said it would be closing at 3:30. Bummer.
Change of plans, we went to Temple Square. You can't go wrong with that.
We saw these faces quite often on the trip. Of course no one did anything wrong.
We had to get our picture in front of the temple.
My favorite!
Church History Museum.
Hazel loved this exhibit. She was dancing her heart out.
Guess I'll have to make a fun skirt for her.
Graham also got into it too. They loved following the images on the wall.
Hazel does love a skirt.
Twirl
There was also the upstairs exhibit all about 100 years of scouting in the church. It was so cool. Lots of Norman Rockwell paintings. He is one of my favorite artists.
The kids always love seeing the Angel Moroni up close.
Then back outside to a pioneer cabin. The kids all agreed that they would not like to live in it.
Some fun with the camera.
Gretchen loves to photo bomb.
Off to City Creek for dinner...
And dessert...
Yum!
After all this we headed to Uintah to the Petty's.

Trafalga Lehi

Not too wet for the up and down.
We picked Hunter up from EFY Satuday morning at 7:30. The van got loaded up and we headed back to the Lehi Trafalga. We thought Hunter might enjoy it.
The first thing we did was bumper boats. And we got soaked, everyone of us.
There was some go karts.
The up and down
Lunch was there too. Hazel was exhausted. She just climbed up on the table and fell asleep with all the noise around too. It had been a pack week for us all.
Gavin and Gretchen climbing the wall.
Harrison and Graham back at it too.
Graham was very good at repelling.
Gavin and Gretch climbing the wall.

Aaron and I after the bumper boats.
Before bumper boats...see still dry.
Getting ready for laser tag.
After Trafalga it was on to Seven Peaks in Salt Lake.
