Birthday Surprise

We surprised Gretchen after school on her birthday. Kelly came with me to pick her up. Then we told her that we were going to 'Miranda Sings' concert. She is a YouTube personality that the girls love. Before the show we stopped for some Panda Express, Gretchen's request. After that it was a stop at the Woodburn Outlets for some quick shopping.
Can you see the excitement?
We made it.
There she is. Miranda in the flesh. It got so loud in the theatre when she came out. All the girls screaming was crazy. It was a fun show. A birthday Gretchen won't forget.

Spring Break

During our spring break there was a whole lot of this.
We didn't go on any trips, except the trip to the coast.
We had beautiful weather for the first part of spring break. So we took advantage of it and went to the park.

When we got to the park the Brower girls were there. Harrison and Graham were thrilled!
The kids began to play minecraft immediately.

This is what Hazel did crashed many times throughout the week.
It was a great spring break. We stayed home and enjoyed one anothers company.
Gretchen spent 4 days at the Tokarski's during spring break. We missed her but got to spend time with the rest of the week.

Spring Break

The first official day of spring break we headed to the coast. We got a late start because Hunter had an essay he needed to write and turn end before we left.
It was gorgeous at the coast, but the wind made it so chilly.
Hazel was freezing.
And when the ocean got close to her she freaked.
Later at  home after talking to Aaron we realized why Hazel was so scared of the water. When we pulled up to the beach Aaron jokingly said something about sharks being in the water. Hazel took that to heart.
After about 15-20 minutes of freezing on the beach we headed to the outlets. The kids had money burning holes in their pockets. It was such a fun day!

Date Night

Aaron and I went to see Brian Regan, a clean comedian in Salem. It was a fun night out with my sweetheart. I love spending time with him.

Last Playoff Game vs Trailblazers

Gavin's last basketball game. The team played great.
Dribbling between the legs.
The Celtics won! They really came together as a team. So fun to see the growth.

Post Season Party

After the last game there was a pizza and awards.
Coach Taylor gave each of the boys a special award. Gavin's was 'Most Coachable".
Glad to hear that he listens to his coach and does what he asks.
Fun group of boys!
And a great season!

Enjoying the Sunshine

The sun was out. So the kids couldn't wait to get outside with the neighborhood kids.
Ah sunshine, how we needed you!
