Star Wars Legos and Such

Last week on one of our visits to Portland, Hunter and I stopped at Target to pick up a Star Wars Lego set Hunter has been eyeing and saving up for. It was on sale last week and he was so excited.Harrison and Graham helping put some together.
Hunter is such a great big brother. He wanted them to help him.

Tonight Hunter finally finished it. He was so excited. There is part of it that you can push down to button like things and the walls fall down like it's being blown apart. The boys love blowing it up and putting it back together.

Hunter, the little boys and I headed to Doernbecher this morning since yesterday was a holiday. He only had an exam and labs. He is gaining weight. Last week Hunter realized he had gained weight since the last time and said, "Maybe I need to start exercising?" I assured him, it would be fine and once he stopped the steroids his on some of that would be gone.

Hunter's counts are down. They are supposed to be like at this stage. We had to change our appointment on Thursday to the morning just in case he needs a blood transfusion. His body should be making new cells soon. We're just not sure if that's going to be tomorrow, the next day or next week. To be on the safe side we moved the appointment, so he could get a transfusion, if necessary.

Hunter has noticed that he has more energy than in the previous weeks. Another thing Hunter just noticed today is that his cheeks are getting fuller. We've noticed it the past couple of days. It didn't bother him because he knows that they won't be like that forever. I was also talking with my sister-in-law Jaime about how nice it is that Hunter is older. He understand more of what's going on. He can also tell us what he needs or what's going on. This also isn't so great at time because he does know what's going on and he understands the seriousness of what is happening to his body. That is where our faith and prayer are such a blessing.

Hunter went to school for the morning today. He really had a great time and is looking forward to going more this week. Thankfully he enjoys school and being with his friends. It's also a good distraction. It's also nice that school is almost out and he has great grades and teachers. We are looking forward to the summer!
