Space Needle

Last Friday we took the kids out of school and Aaron took a personal day and we headed to Seattle. Aaron's youngest brother, Justin, was getting married on Saturday. We had some things we were wanting to do while in Seattle that we hadn't done before.
#1- the Space Needle

It was a gorgeous day to go on a road trip. We got a later start than we were planning. Aaron had been up all night to get a report done that was due Saturday. That was no problem. Luckily we weren't on a time schedule.

The whole trip we had been talking about the Space Needle. Once we got under it Gavin did not want to go. I think he realized how high we were going to go up. Harrison our opposite boy lately. Whatever we are going to do he wants to do the opposite. Can't wait until the stage is done.
We parked on Harrison Street. Aaron really wanted to get a picture our Harrison with the sign. We have never done that in Corvallis. You think of different things when on vacation.

Finally at the top. Isn't it beautiful.

Checkin' the view from inside first.

Me and my Buddy.

Gavin was trying to see a sea plane land in the bay. Harrison wanting to get in on the action.

Finally his turn.

Yes, I am tired. No, I wasn't falling asleep. Sometimes this is how pictures of me turn out.

Waiting for the elevator down.

My crazy boys.

Love these kids!

Aaron wanted a picture of the Monorail stop. I guess it brings him back to his mission in Germany.

We had such a great time at the Space Needle. So fun to check that off of our list of things we want to do as a family.

That picture of you, Cami, just cracks me up. It's how I feel most days.

How cool that you guys go and do things like this as a family.

Sure wish we were a little more on your way to Seattle! We'd love to have a Hale/Ditto party sometime!
