Not much has been going on the last week. Just busy with school and other activities. Hunter got his Bear in Cub Scouts on Friday and also another award for Webelos. They got their cars for the Pinewood Derby. So there will be more on that later. Last year Hunter didn't do so well in the Derby, but is hopeful to do better this year.
We had dinner with Lydia, Jared, Ender and Maya on Saturday. It has been so great to have them back. Gavin and Harrison are loving having their cousins back. The cousins picked up playing just like they hadn't missed a day. It is so great.
Graham has taken steps without being prodded to. Oh no, here we go. The other kids love to see him taking steps. They all love the new things that he is learning.
We are getting plans together for Spring Break. My brother Shale and his family are coming our way. The kids keep asking how many days it is until they come. Yes, they are excited. We all are!

All of the kids minus Gavin who had just slipped a little into the water.
The kids hot on the trail of the next box.Our neighbors, the Dezzani's, intoduced us to the world of letterboxing. It is such a fun family outing. We hiked through E.E Wilson Wildlife Refuge while following the clues given from the website. It was such a beautiful day and such great company. The kids and us parents enjoyed it so much. We have such great neighbors and the kids get along pretty well. There will definitely be more of these outings.
Fun Friday Night
We were the recipients of two tickets to the OSU Gymnastics meet on friday. Kirk and Dolcie Myrold called and offered the tickets. So we thought it would be a fun family outing. With our Bimart card we got a discout on the tickets for the kids. Who doesn't love a discount? Hunter and Gretchen sat in the reserved seats with Dolcie and Kirk. Aaron and I took the 3 boys and sat a little higher. We had a really great time.We haven't been to a meet in so long it was so fun to go.

Nature!
We have been enjoying the weather so much this week. It seems we always get a teaser of sunny weather for a spell then the rain returns. Enjoy this time is essential to getting through to the spring and summer. While enjoying the sunshine yesterday, Hannah, Gretchen's friend and neighbor, spotted this pair of bald eagles soaring above us. All of us were so excited to see them, especially when they perched in a tree near us. Thanks to Bertie, Hannah's mom, she got some great shots of them and emailed them to me. We have seen bald eagles fly over us, but never something as cool as a pair of them and then having them perch so near us. It was a wonderful ended to our fun time outside.

No more training wheels!

On Monday Gavin shed his training wheels and is now a full fledge bike rider. He was extremely apprehensive and took alot of coaxing. Gavin was very nervous because he didn't want to fall. I kept telling him, he was going to fall but not to worry about it. We all fall off of our bikes. Usually when I ask the kids if they want to go outside, Gavin is the one who doesn't want to be outside. Now he can't wait to get on his bike and explore the neighbor in a different way. *Yes that is Gretchen's old bike Gavin's riding. Gavin said, "It's okay if I'm riding a girls bike. Gretchen rides a boy's bike and I don't even make fun of her. "

I can't believe he's 10!
Hunter at almost 11 months.
Getting ready to blow out the candles
Grandma Hale gave him ketchup. Hunter loves to dip almost anything in ketchup.I'm so lucky to be Hunter's mom. He is such a good big brother and helper to me. Even when he is busy doing something else, Hunter is willing to take Graham for me or help Harrison with something. I am so grateful that he is such a good example for me and his siblings.
Sports, sports, sports. Hutner likes to play or watch most sports. He is such a great kid.
