A Reaction

Our sweet little Graham came down with a crazy rash on Thursday evening.

It started out as little red dots. We instantly thought of chicken pox, because they were itchy too. Which was a bit concerning with Hunter even though he has had it. Then the rash started to look like this. We gave him Benadryl and the itching went away.
We called the pediatrician first thing on New Year's Eve. They were able to fit Graham in. The doctor said it was reaction to medicine, which Graham has had any of for a long time, or food. The only thing we could think of him having was some smoked salmon and not very much of it. He said it could take up to a week for the rash to disappear. We were grateful to know that Graham didn't have anything contagious. In fact we kept him away from the toys in the waiting room because we weren't sure what he had. Also we weren't sure what other kids had that had been playing with the toys. We really didn't want to bring anything home.

It was even around his hairline and eyebrows.

Some on his chin and legs. By Thursday afternoon the rash was already clearing up.

This was him today, happy as could be.
