We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day at the Coast with my Mom and her husband, Steve, Kamika, Zephyr, and Shannen.
Graham loved his first visit to the coast.
He didn't like his bare feet in the sand.
He couldn't wait to get his hands on the rock beach though.
The kids couldn't wait to get up here to explore.
It didn't take long for them to want to get in the water. The water at the Oregon Coast is usually freezing. While we were there, the temperature outside was also freezing. Really it was 30 when we woke up Thanksgiving morning. We waited until the sun had been out for awhile before we ventured to the beach. We all had such a great time. With our family. On Friday we went to the Tokarski's in Salem. We had a wonderful time with Aaron's family. We didn't get any picture if you can believe that. Of course anytime the cousins get together there is always the desire for sleepovers. The fun didn't end on Friday. It continued to Saturday when we all met at our house to watch the Oregon, UCLA games. Such fun this weekend.

Looks like so much fun. Funny how you can miss the Oregon coast. It really has its own sense of beauty despite the cold water. The Kids look great** Can't wait to see you guys again. Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble gobble!
The coast looks beautiful! Sure doesn't look freezing. What a fun day! We love playing croquet on the sand.
I agree, the coast looks beautiful! Some of the best days we've been to the coast have been in the winter. Sounds like a perfect Thanksgiving weekend :)
What beautiful pictures! I grew up in Florence and it's so fun to visit every now and then! Sounds like a super fun week(end)!
I havn't checked your blog out in forever! I love all your pictures! We missed everyone so much over Thanksgiving!
We finally purchased another camera since our other one got lost, so hopefully I will get on the horn and start blogging again!
Your kids are adorable! I love Gavin's "being chargie"...I am so going to use that!
Love you guys and miss you tons!

you've been quite a busy blogger! Too bad you didn't get any pictures of Dana and her family. I didn't know they were still in Salem. Would be fun to see them. Looks like you guys had an awesome time at the coast. While I appreciate the occasional warm day at the beach, I still love the cold, rocky Oregon beaches.
I need to get over to coast more!! Oh about our car.. it wasn't our van.. it was our ford focus. We took it to save gas, and it had something funky with the electrical.. but it is fine now. I am not loving the ford focus :(
I love that 2nd picture. Graham's smile is so cute! What a fun Thanksgiving.
