Sisters

The kids had the day off of school. So Gretchen seized the opportunity to play with Hazel's hair.
Hazel was a good sport.
The end result.
Gretchen had plans of doing some fun stuff but Hazel's ability to sit still for that long didn't happen.
It was so great to see them bonding like this.

Northwest Middle School XC Showdown

Gretchen was able to run in the champions race for the meet. She is the third fastest runner and this race is for the top six. Gretchen hadn't practiced much because she was still recovering from the gunk she had had for a couple of weeks. Her breathing wasn't very good either.
t
Gretchen did really well. The girls in this race were really fast.
Her time was a 14:41. She beat her time from Saturday by almost a minute. No wonder she was breathing harder. Gretchen is a natural runner.

Early Birds

Harrison, Graham and Hazel were up before 6. They had enough time to read a book on the couch.
And say goodbye to Hunter, who leaves at 6:30 for seminary.
Hazel is trying to find Hunter's gum on his backpack.
This is what the result is of getting up so early.

Hazel

Hazel pretending she was talking to her friend Maya.
This is what happens when you are waking up in the 6's. Silly Hazel.
One of our many trips in the car to run kids here and there.
Playing with her baby.
She can see her reflection in the TV.
Hazel loves to look at books.
Anywhere.

Harrier Classic

Gretchen ran in the Harrier Classic Cross Country Meet. She did very well for being sick all week with a cold and cough. Her time was 15:32. She place 21st out of 96. Not to shabby.

A Dad and His Little Girl

I love seeing Aaron with the kids. They totally eat up all the attention from him. The little lady is no exception.
Aaron and Hazel while I was at a church meeting.
They do like to take selfies.
