More Hazel

Hazel likes to take my phone anytime she can get it. I have to make sure it is out of reach or else she will have it non stop.
She knows how to unlock it and navigate the different apps and screens. What? She is only 19 months.
We found her in this cute little spot today after church.

Creativity

Gavin created this yesterday with the marbles like things that go in the star votive. It took him about 3 minutes.
I love what he comes up with!

Holiday Party

Friday Graham's class had there holiday party.
The kids decorated snowflake cookies.
Drank yummy hot chocolate.
(I know it was yummy because I made it. It was a really good recipe.)

I had Carter that morning. He was having a great time with the blocks.
Hazel enjoyed Graham's cookie too.
She got the beads from Aaron's secrataries, Gail and Cathy. They are so sweet to Hazel.

Then it was out to the play shed for a pinata.

Now that is the face of one happy boy!
Wahoo it is Christmas Break!!!

Silverton Swim Meet

Tuesday was Hunter's second swim meet. It was in Silverton, a bit of a drive. But worth it to watch and support Hunter.
Hunter doing his second of 4 events.
I dropped the kids off at the Tokarski's and Dana and I watched Hunter.
It was so nice to be able to focus on Hunter's events.

The swimming pool wasn't inside and it wasn't outside. There was a tent like ting over the top. The poor swimmers were freezing in between there events.

Hunter getting ready for one of his relays.
Hunter was the first leg of this relay.
He participated in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay and the 200 IM relay.
Hunter got PRs once again. So happy with what he is doing. Swimming is really helping his left side get back up to almost the same strength as the right. You can hardly tell there was atrophy in the left side.
No meets until after the new year.

First Snow of the Season

Last Tuesday we woke up to snow! So unheard of for Corvallis. The kids kept thinking there was going to be a delay or cancelled school. No such luck, school was in and on time.

The snow was gone by the time the kids got home from school.
I did get them out early because Hunter had a swim meet in Silverton. Not because of the melted snow.

Kindergarten Fun

Gingerbreadmen Hunt
Graham's kindergarten class read the Gingerbreadman. And done several different activities around that story. This was one such activities. The gingerbreadmen ran away. But they left clues all over the school. Even in Aaron's office.
The kids loved it. The clues led them back to the classroom and the gingerbread men back in the classroom ready to be decorated and eaten.
It was so fun.
Then it was the wassail was later that week. The kindergarten were so cute.
Graham is in the front row, five from the end.
Principal Hale introducing the kids. It was so fun to see him in action.

Many Faces of Hazel

Hazel at Hunter's swim meet. She was being hilarious.

We were trying to stay busy in between Hunter's events.
