9 Months

Miss Hazel is now 9 months old. Where has the time gone?
This morning bright and early,8:30, she had her 9 month check up. Yes, we did get out the door with everyone ready, dropped off on time and to the doctors with time to spare. I have amazing kids I know.
Hazel weighs 15 lbs. 14.5oz.
She is 26 1/2 in.
Little miss gained 5 lbs in the last three months. That is a record for this itty bitty one.
Hazel is quite the speedy crawler. She loves pulling up on whatever she can. She is a talker. The doctor said today she is going to be walking in the next month. that would be earlier than all the other kids. The walked in their 11th month. The girl has to keep up with everything around her.
Hazel has 5 teeth with another ready to pop through. She love eating whatever we eat especially avocados. Smart girl.

We can't get enough of this sweet smile.
So grateful that this cutie is part of our family!
Yesterday Hazel caught Rocket napping in the sun.
She was slapping him on the belly pretty hard. He was loving it.
Then she started to pinch and pull his skin. Poor Rocket didn't even flinch. What a good dog. We think Rocket is starting to like Hazel more because he cleans up around her chair while she's eating.

No Training Wheels

While Aaron and the boys were washing the car. I was helping Graham on his bike. He has been riding a glider bike for awhile.
He hopped on his bike and was off in no time by himself

Graham was so excited. It was so cool to see how excited the other kids were for him. Graham is now ready to move up to Harrison's bike.

Saturday Afternoon

We had a great Saturday afternoon. I got an hour long massage!! Aaron had given me it for Christmas. We finally found a time to squeeze it into the schedule. While I was realaxing, Aaron was cleaning the grill. The sun was shining and it wasn't to chilly. Then it was on to washing the van. Bay, did it need it!
The big boys helping out.

Harrison was helping out some too. Then he noticed the water going down the street into the drain. Way cooler than washing the van.

We had a lovely day. Aaron and I ended it by making a quick trip to the temple. So thankful we have such great kids that we can leave them for several hours and not worry to much!

Basketball

Hunter's basketball team had their first game Saturday. He is on a team with Ian, his cousin, and several close friends. Hunter was so nervous. I'm sure it was wondering if he could keep up with the other guys. He did fantastic. Ever since July of 2010,when he lost mobility on his left side, it has been a long time getting Hunter's body back to where it was. We are seeing glimpses of his abilities before. Hunter is so excited about doing track this spring also.
Hunter stole the ball a couple of time and shot once. Can't wait to see what next week has in store!
(I was trying to take the pictures with Hazel on my lap, grabbing at the camera. She is so helpful.)

Saturday Morning

Our Saturday morning was pretty low key.

Hazel was busy playing with her toys.

Hunter, of course, was playing with Star Wars Legos.
Gavin, of course, was playing with Star Wars action figures.

Graham was playing with Lego Star Wars, of course.

Harrison was playing with Legos Star Wars and City.
Do you notice a pattern?
Hazel was crawling into a her bin to get toys out. Gretchen was downstairs having breakfast.
After playing for awhile inside, the kids headed outside to play with Annie and Jeff. They big boys practiced basketball for their games.

Days Off

Graham has two weeks off of preschool. We are enjoying the time of not having to run around.

We are also enjoying the beautiful sunshine we are blessed to have.
We have gone on walks and played at the park. The kids and I are looking forward to another week of the same.

Basketball Season

Gavin started basketball last week. His first game was Saturday. He was so excited. Gavin is playing on the Franklin team with his friend Luke Stenson and the school Aaron's is principal of.
Gavin and Luke, in the white shorts getting on defensive.
Waiting for a pass.

Going for a shot.
Trying for another and making it!
He made three shots in all. He was so thriled. Gavin had a goal to make a shot. Goal achieved. Now his goal is to steal the ball.
