First Swim Meet of the Year

This first meet was against CV. 

It wasn't an official one. Just a good practice for the real ones.

Hunter did the 50 free in a relay, then the 50 free, and the 100 back stroke.
He looked really strong. 

Futrue Spartans Basketball

Gavin's first future spartans basketball game was in Salem at The Hoop. They played a group of kids that had been playing together since September. 

The boys looked a little timid.

The Spartans lost this first game but it was a good experience for them.

They had another game about an hour later.

The team they played was a 7th grade team. They had played last year together. 

Our boys played well. 

Jog-A-Thon Assembly

Another jog-a-thon assemby was a success for Aaron. 

The staff did a dance. 

Aaron did a tricycle race with Mr. Cook, one of the middle school teachers. 

Aaron couldn't just do it like some of us would. He had to wear a crazy wig.

The race is on!

Mr. Cook beat Aaron but the kids enjoyed it.
Aaron does know how to entertain!

OSU Beaver Game

We had tickets to the game again. Hunter and Gretchen went to a stake dance. Harrison, Graham and Hazel did not want to go. So that left me staying home with them and Aaron and Gavin going with Gavin's friend Calvin and some of Aaron's friends. 

It was freezing outside. I was fine being home in the warmth. 
Aaron and Gavin had a great time with their buddies. I'm so grateful for awesome friends.

Making Cookies

While the kids were at school, hazel and I made some chocolate crinkle cookies.
She loved being able to make the black cookies white.

The next day after school we made some more so that Graham and Harrison could help too. They had as much fun as Hazel did.

After Stake Conference

When we have Stake Conference, we get together with the Cole's for lunch/dinner. It's one of the Sundays we don't have any kids complaining about going to church. They get to sit with their cousins. 

We love, love, love being with the Cole's. 

OSU Football Game

Aaron, Hunter, Gavin, Graham, Hazel and I braved the weather for the Beaver game against California. It was freezing. The temperature was low 30's. Hazel was having a great time. When the game was almost done she finally gave in to sleep.
It was fun family time even though the Beavs lost.
Gretchen and Harrison opted to stay home in the warmth.
