Make-A-Wish

Wednesday evening was Hunter's Make-A-Wish party. This is when we found out all about our trip to Disneyland that begins on Monday.

We were at Papa's pizza. We were given some books to helps us with going to Disney. Hunter was immediately looking through them for tips.

He also got a backpack full of goodies.

Our family is so excited to have this opportunity. We feel so blessed.

He Passed!

Yesterday Hunter had counts done in town. He passed with flying colors!!
We were very surprised and excited since his numbers were so low last week. His ANC 1.1, hemoglobin 9.6, and platelets 93. We are grateful for answers to our prayers.
Now Hunter starts Maintenance. He is feeling much better than the last week thankfully. We leave for Disneyland on Monday. Wahoo!
Yesterday I caught Hunter and Graham playing Star Wars guys together. It was pretty cute. Hunter said afterwards that he had to quite because Graham was changing the story so many times it was hard for him to keep up. I reminded him that is how little kids play. What a great big brother!

He's Lost It

Monday at lunch Harrison kept taking bites of his Nutela sandwich and saying that it hurt his tooth. I told him to try biting on the other side. He tried that and it kept hurting. Moments later he said," I just swallowed it!" I thought he meant his sandwich or chips. I didn't think his tooth was that loose.
Yes, he did swallow his tooth.

As you can see he is very happy to have lost that painful tooth.

10 Weeks

Hazel is 10 weeks today. I can't believe it.
She had her 2 month check up last week. Hazel weighed in at a bulky 8 lbs 14 oz. and 21 1/2 inches long. She is our petite little lady.

We are so grateful to have her in our family!

Summer Baseball

Gavin started baseball a couple of weeks ago. He loves sports so much and couldn't wait for this one to start. He is going to be missing 2 weeks of it for Cub Scout Day Camp and our Disneyland trip. He doesn't care about missing those two weeks. He just wants to be playing.
Waiting for practice to begin.

Getting a grounder and making the play.

He hit the ball into the outfield. Gavin was so excited.
I love seeing our kids enjoying being active.

Hunter

Hunter and Aaron headed up to Doernbecher last Thursday. Hunter's counts were so low still. His Hemoglobin was 9. Platelets were 9 which is very low. He did get a transfusion for those. and ANC was 0.
Hunter still got his chemo since it wasn't count dependent. This week we check counts to see if he can start on Maintenance. I doubt he will pass counts.
This last weekend has been horrible for Hunter. He has felt sick to his stomach and thrown up several time. Hunter has no energy.
Today he got counts taken. It's as we expected, he didn't pass. His ANC is still 0. Platelets are 25 which is much better than they have been. We are so glad they are going up. Hemoglobin is 8.3, very good. Luckily he doesn't need a transfusion just hoping he can bounce back and start Maintenance next week.
Today he is feeling better that the last couple of days. We are hopeful that every day is a better one.

Rollin'

Last Thursday Hazel decided to start rolling over. She wasn't so thrilled with this new found skill.

Notice how happy she is.

She only did it a couple of times and hasn't done it since.
My kids never liked being on their tummies much. Hazel is no exception.
