Lydia made some delicious caramel apples. We all devoured them.

Yum, fruit tart.

Amy, Aaron's sister and her husband Chris visiting from AZ.

Keenan and Calli, two of Amy's kids.

Hunter was not feeling so well last Sunday.

Two cute.

Gavin.

Graham.

Calli playing in Carter's bouncy seat.

We love spending time with family. Just wish we could all live closer so it could happen more often. Oh well such is life. We do enjoy the time we have together.

Invaded

Gavin wanted me to take a picture of him with the gun. It was like we got invaded he said.
Unfortunately Gavin didn't make it through the invasion. Better luck next time.

Cook Shop

The kids have had the last two days off of school. Yesterday the kids were adjusting to being with each other. That involved some fighting, bossing and tattling.Today is a much better day.The kids minus Hunter played cook shop with the play-doh.

Such a better day than yesterday.
Hunter got to go to a sleepover at his friend Cole's. He just got home and can't stop talking about it. Last time he spent the night Hunter got sick to his stomach because he was in the middle of a hard treatment drugs. So glad he was able to enjoy himself this time.

Saying Goodbye

We said goodbye to the Dezzanis yesterday. There were tears, but we are so glad we'll get to see them when we go to Disney in December.
Hannah and Gretchen.
Sam and Gavin.

Harrison and Joe.

Walking down to their house one last time.

Heading out.

Still heading out.
It is going to be very strange not having them there. Who am I going to chat with while the kids are riding around out front. It is going to be strange to have them gone. It has been 4 1/2 years that we have been neighbors and instant friends. I keep telling myself when friends move away, I just have more friends all over the US.

Dominoes

Yesterday we had the Dezzani kids over for the morning while their parents were finishing up packing. The kids spent an hour setting up dominoes.

It worked! The kids were so excited. Gretchen took the great photos.

Fireworks

Our great friends and neighbors moved this weekend. In preparation to move they needed to use some fireworks they had. They couldn't take them to California with them. So Saturday night we had a fireworks show. Some of the kids waiting to see them.

I think it was a loud one.

Some of the dads, Hunter and Graham.

Their were sparklers for all of the kids too. A nice line waiting for them to be lit.

The rest of the line.

It was a great show and not to chill. I kind of like the fireworks now. We didn't have to stay up to late waiting for the sun to go down.

Doernbecher Day

Thursday Hunter, Graham and I headed to Doernbecher after dropping the kids off at school.
Hunter's numbers were good so he had a lumbar puncture then got his other two chemos. We are getting near the end of this phase and praying for the best during the next. Hunter's doctors have said it is a pretty intense one. We are just hoping for no fevers. We are so grateful for this phase it has been pretty low key compared to the other two. Hunter has been able to go to school all day and is not wiped out afterwards. So many blessings!
