Spring Break

This week has been Spring Break for us. Man have we enjoyed it. We have had no definite plans. Which has been nice to not have to rush around and get ready.

Monday, on the spur of the moment, we went to Eugene to the cheap movies. By cheap I mean $0.75 a ticket cheap. Mondays are half price. We were going to go see "The Chipmunks the Squeakquel". Not something Aaron and I were looking forward to seeing. I have to keep telling myself,"It's not about me." The kids were so excited to see it. When we got there the movie was sold out. We ended up going to Chuckie Cheese's to play games. Then going to the movie 2 hours later. So glad we only paid $0.75 a tickets to see it. Not one of my favorite movies.

Hunter spent Sunday night until Tuesday afternoon at the Coast with Dawn, Ian, Alice and Cole Hansen. They had such a great time.

Tuesday the weather was beautiful. We hopped on our bikes and rode downtown to "The Toy Factory". It was a lot of fun. The kids toke their money and bought some things that they were interested in.

Wednesday we headed to the park by our house to meet our friends the Stensons. They have four boys in their family, need I say more.

I love having my kids play with the Stensons. They are such a great family. The kids get along really well together.

Thursday we headed to the cheap movies again with our neighbors the Dezzanis. This time we went to "The Tooth Fairy". Much better than "The Squeakquel". After the movie we went miniature golfing. There is a nice one indoors. The weather yesterday was horrible after such a beautiful day. It was nice to find something fun to do indoors.

So many great days with great friends. Today Aaron made me an appointment for a massage. Who knows what the rest of the day will bring. It doesn't matter as long as we are together.

We have had a great time with Aaron being home. During the school year we don't see him much. We will see him on Monday night for FHE. Then usually won't see him until Friday night because of school meetings and/or church obligations. When we can have him for a week, we'll take it.

Fun With Grandma

Last night Aaron's mom watched the kids minus Hunter for us. So that we could go to the temple with the youth. It was Hunter's first time going. I was pretty excited.

The kids alway love it when Grandma comes over. They are always counting down the days and hours until she comes. I'm so glad they love her so much. We are so lucky to have her so close.

The Changing of the Clothes

Harrison stayed home yesterday from preschool. He has had a cough just when he would wake up for the last two days. Yesterday the cough was very persistent and he also had a runny nose. He is the one who first talked about staying home from school. "I don't want to get the other kids sick." Those were his words. Pretty thoughtful, I think.So with no running around to do. I decided to tackle the the little boys closet. Their pants have been getting progressively shorter. Time for the changing of the clothes. One benefit to having so many boys is there are a lot of hand-me-downs. That is what I did yesterday. The end result a closet full of new clothes, well at least to them. I told Aaron I had gone shopping for the boys and gotten a whole new wardrobe for them in there own closet. I love it because it didn't cost me a thing.

The boys were so excite with all of the new clothes and some of them are matching. How cool is that? Clothes that Gavin and Harrison used to wear at these ages. Crazy!

Harrison couldn't wait to wear matching jammies and get a picture of them. A very productive day. Man, it feels good.

Then End of Basketball

Hunter is such a great hustler. He gets down the court pretty fast.

Hunter has gain so much more confidence in handling the ball since the beginning of the season.

He had a nice fake pass.

Hunter has really enjoyed this season of basketball. How wouldn't when you get to play with one of your cousins.

The boys had such a great coach this year too. He was always so positive with them but got on them when they needed. His frat paid for a pizza party at Woodstock's today. How cool is that. Hunter is such a great kid.

Lazy Friday

The boys and I finally had a day of no errands. We all were so glad to just be home.

As you can tell Graham was the most excited because he was still in his pajamas. This was at 10am. He was in them until bedtime. Then we changed into some other jammies for the night.

We put together this marble run.

Graham likes to have all of the blue marbles. So sometimes the marbles become a point of contention.

Harrison likes to put as many marbles down as possible. Hence the marble jam.

We had such a great time. We only left the house to pick up the kids from school. We did have to pick Gavin up early from school. He as complaining of a yucky tummy. There is some kind of throwing up virus going around the school. Gavin had it two weeks ago. So I was hoping he didn't have it. On the way home from picking him up, he told me that one of his friends had thrown up at lunch right next to him. That would definitely make my stomach turn. Luckily he just fine and I think we are over the virus because all the kids have already had it. Cross my fingers.

3 Wow!

Yesterday this little guy turned 3 years old. Has it already have been 3 years?
These two have birthday's 2 days apart.

For Graham's birthday he wanted to go to the bouncy house with Alice. Here they are waiting for the inflatables to inflate.

It was a great time for them both. They had the whole place to themselves. For dinner we surprised the kids by going to Papa's Pizza. Not really one of my favorite places to eat, but the day was not about me.

See the smile on his face. Graham loves to splash in puddles. I can't believe we haven't gotten him boots yet. I mean we live in Oregon for heaven sakes.

Graham woke up this morning and threw up, just a little bit. Luckily we made it into the bathroom. After lying around a little bit, Graham came to me and said,"Mom, can't I get my boots on and go outside and shoot some hoops?"

Luckily the kids didn't have school today. So it has been a lazy day. Good day for being sick I guess.

We love having Graham in our family. He is so full of personality and make the greatest expression with his face. I wish I could take pictures of them all. He likes to say quotes from different movies. The other day at the dinner table with the sister missionaries, someone said,"Cheese." Graham out of the blue says,"Cheese, Grommet." It took us so by surprise. He had a laughing really good. Graham definitely like to be funny.
