What Do You Do When You Have A Concussion?

Gavin was at baseball practice last week. They were playing pickle. Gaivn was the one in the pickle. He was running towards a base that his coach was on. Gavin tried to juke out his coach and ended up smacking the side of his head into Coach's knee. Ouch! Gavin was fine afterwards. Until the next morning when he woke up for school. The lights were to bright and we were all talking to loudly. Also Gavin could barely move his head and he would be in pain. I knew he could possibly have a concussion. It was later confirmed at the doctor's that he did have a concussion.

So he was told to not watch TV or be on electronics for more than 10 mintues at a time. Yes he was bored. He came up with some things to do.

Gavin came up with these silly things.

He also made a pan of 'brown E's'.
Happy Gavin was able to figure out some things to do to curb his boredom.

Spartans vs West Salem

West Salem was a difficult team to play.

Gretchen had a great game.

It was really hot outside for the girls. They played so well.

Red Sox vs Marlins

Graham enjoyed pitching so much.

Spartans vs Sheldon

This game was a big one. Sheldon is a bigger school than ours.
Gretchen is #35.

Gretchen got put in the penalty box. They have to be in there for 2 minutes or more. I can't remember exactly. 

Their team was down by 7. 

They came back to win the game by one point in overtime. It was a great comeback!

Cousins at the Coast

Harrison and Graham were invited to go to the coast with Darin, Alice and Carter. 

They had a great time.

I meet Darin in Eddyville. 5 minutes into the drive home the boys were sawing logs.

Hazel and Cali go to school together. They were so happy to be both at the pinewood derby.
